Free Leonard Peltier (2025)
Joined the production of this feature documentary as an Archavist intern within the VFX/GFX department. A film advocating for the release of falsely convicted Native American activist Leonard Peltier, which went on to premiere at Sundance 2025. The core of my internship was building and maintaining the production's media archive: organizing source materials, managing research assets, and supporting narrative and VFX pipeline continuity. In September, I was additionally brought on as a Storyboard Artist while continuing my archival work.

Running the submissions engine for an entire animation department
Stationed in the SVA BFA Animation administrative offices, I served as the primary operational support for the department's festival and database pipeline: guiding 2nd and 3rd year students through the full submissions process, from opportunity research to materials prep and deadline coordination. Over the course of a single academic year, I set a department record for total volume of submissions.
Festival Pipeline
Researched, tracked, and coordinated submissions for student films across festivals, scholarships, and opportunity programs - managing multiple simultaneous deadlines throughout the academic year.
Database Management
Maintained live databases covering festivals, alumni records, student achievements, and awards - keeping records current, accurate, and accessible to department staff.
Lab Operations
Managed daily opening and closing of BFA Animation facilities on two floors, overseeing student and faculty use, answering department calls, and reinforcing lab policies.

Brought on initially as a Background Layout Artist, I constructed environmental backgrounds and corrected perspective across multiple scenes. As the film moved into its festival phase, I stepped into the role of Festival Submissions Manager - taking full ownership of the pipeline: researching festivals, preparing application materials, tracking deadlines, and coordinating all submissions simultaneously across multiple programs.

Assistant Event Planner
Veliko Tarnovo Queer Community
Independently planned and executed a recurring series of cultural and social events for LGBTQ+ communities in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. Managing everything from venue logistics and scheduling to community outreach and day-of operations. Coordinated volunteer teams, handled materials and setup, and adapted programming across seasons and shifting community needs over a two-year period. The work demanded the same core skills a production environment requires: keeping multiple moving pieces on schedule, communicating across groups with different priorities, and delivering reliably under real stakes.

Rooftop Films
Supported full-cycle outdoor film screening operations for Rooftop Films - an NYC-based nonprofit that brings independent cinema to unexpected public spaces. Contributed to post-screening Q&A logistics and co-coordinated a queer literature giveaway and library card sign-up drive with a local library partner, connecting the screening's audience with community resources. Worked as part of a fast-moving event team to ensure seamless transitions between screening, Q&A, and community programming.
